Interested in our horseback summer day camp program? Please do not hesitate to reserve your camper’s spot. Thankfully we now have one week closed to additional enrollment with other weeks close to filling. Please reserve soon to avoid disappointed campers.

Our Spring Break and Summer Horseback Riding Camp dates are set! We are offering one week n the Spring and eight weeks this summer. Please check out our Camps web page for further details.

On Saturday, January 25, we had our first GSSD troop event of the 2014 year. It was a great day with 9 Juniors participating in both the Horse Fun and Horseback Riding Programs. Thank you Tara Hargrave for sharing your troop with us.

A friendly reminder to all San Diego Girl Scout troop leaders about scheduling their troop’s 2014 Horse Fun and Horseback Riding events –BOOK EARLY. We already have troops booked for 2014 Girl Scout horse events. To increase your odds of receiving your choice date(s), we encourage you to book early. Congratulations to our 2013 Girl Scout Volunteer Conference drawing winners! We look forward to seeing you and your troop at our ranch soon. The winners are:

1. Susie Stewart/ Troop 3235  – $75 credit to be used toward her troop’s event tuition,
2. Julie Martinez/ Troop 3105 – $50 credit to be used toward her troop’s event tuition, and
3. Susan Miller/ Troop 3944 – $35 credit to be used toward her troop’s event tuition.

To all of my summer day camp families – THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We have had an awesome two weeks thus far, and are eagerly looking forward to the third week of our summer camp programs. Your children are fabulous! I have sincerely enjoyed contributing to and watching their growth as riders.

For those of you who are repeat participants, thank you for your continued support of our camp programs and your child’s riding goals. I look forward to seeing many of you again soon for riding lessons and our Fall/Winter camp programs.

We have added a new program to our horseback riding lesson services: Family Horse Experience. This 3-hour long program is designed for those families wanting to participate in a fun, safe and educational horse experience as a family unit. An ideal program for extended family, guests, tourists, etc. Contact us for more information at 760.579.1260.

Thank you to all of our families who have enrolled their children in our 2013 Summer Horseback Riding Day Camps. Spots are filled on a first come first served basis so please do not hesitate. We have the following openings still available:

July 15 – 19 – 1 opening, July 22 – 26 – 2 openings, and July 29 – August 2, 2013  – 1 opening

Our Summer Day Camp program is filling quickly with only two spots remaining during our first week (July 15-19). Get your reservation(s) in soon to protect the camp week(s) most desirable for you. Remember, we keep our numbers low to increase each camper’s learning experience and safety.
